Sometimes you can always see where the water has caused damage

SERVPRO of Greater Waco was called onto a water loss in Waco, TX where a roof leak had caused major damage to the wood flooring. Upon further inspection we were able to determine the ceiling was also affected. We used a thermal imaging camera to locate spots on the ceiling with a temperature difference. We then used our moisture detection meters to verify the suspected wet spots were “truly” wet. This home turned out to have suffered more water damage than the homeowner thought. The proof is in the after picture where we found standing water after removing the ceiling drywall.
