When the job calls for some demolition

When this Waco customer had a roof leak, the job required that we remove the wet blown in attic insulation from its second story attic. With no viable attic access, we had no choice but to drop the entire ceiling in the room. We normal can remove the wet insulation from the attic side and dry the ceiling drywall in place. In this particular home the way it was constructed did not allow us to do that. We protected the hardwood floors during the demolition and then made sure to clean up all the debris. SERVPRO of Greater Waco’s policy is to dry what we can in place first, and then if the circumstances do not allow it, we are prepared to deal with the loss in the appropriate way.
